Karen Ivester
Karen Ivester is the developer of Mill Springs. Born and raised on the property, Karen is committed to the creation of a community that maintains the natural environment and beauty of the rural landscape.
Karen holds Bachelors and Masters degrees and she is a professional nurse and psychologist. She has worked in the pharmaceutical research industry for more than 20 years and is currently a senior project manager for the largest clinical research organization in the world. Having managed large, global projects and clinical research units within large academic centers, Karen draws upon this experience in the development of Mill Springs.
By partnering with experts in engineering, construction and architecture, she hopes to share her homeplace and the spiritual tranquility of the North Georgia mountains with individuals who wish to build their dream homes.
Jim Spiker
Jim Spiker is the Project Manager for Mill Springs. He has managed several successful projects prior to coming to work for Mill Springs Properties in September 2004. From 2000-2004, he was instrumental in the construction of the 270,000 square foot Winship Cancer Institute at Emory University.
He is currently living the dream of "getting paid to work in the mountains." Jim hopes to share the peace he finds in the North Georgia
area with others. In addition to Project Management, he is also a licensed Realtor in the State of Georgia and will serve as Sales Manager for the Mill Springs development. He has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Alabama. |
